Anyhoo, since tonic isn't my favorite either, no G&Ts for me. And I always order a vodka martini (shaken, not stirred, of course), extra dirty!
However, when the hubby and I took a trip to London six years ago (gasp! has it really been that long?!?!), the lovely folks at Bombay Sapphire were able to sway us just a little, and show us that gin, done right, could be delicious.
At No. 1 Bank End in London, you will find a fun little place (okay, maybe it's not so little) called Vinopolis. This establishment is a walk-through tasting experience where you get to enjoy wines from around the world, while you learn about their history and qualifications.
And somewhere in there, Bombay Sapphire has set up their own little world of gin. And let me tell you, it's super sexy. Set up to look like a swanky night club, you approach the bar and order up a full pour of one of their specialty gin martinis. Yum-o! I had no idea gin could be so yummy!
In the photos below you will find some delicious recipes for Bombay Sapphire, plus you'll see what this homage to one of England's most popular drinks looks like.
